Altenar has extended its popular Early Payout sportsbook feature to the Italian market to allow operators in the region to offer this popular promotion to their players.
The promotion allows users to have their bets settled as a win on pre-determined markets if certain conditions are met, regardless of the final outcome of the event.
The most common form of Early Payout is settling a bet as a win on the ‘1X2’ market for a football match if the bettor’s selected team goes 2-0 up, even if they ultimately draw or lose the match.
As with so many of Altenar’s sportsbook features, the promotion is customisable and operators can choose which sports, events and bet types are included. It can apply to both pre-live single bets and multiples, meaning one leg of an accumulator can be successful as soon as the chosen team takes a two-goal lead.

Offering such a promotion is an attractive way for operators to stand out in a competitive market such as Italy, and there have been numerous examples this season when players betting on Serie A would have benefited from the Early Payout feature.
Backers of Inter would have received a first-half payout when they took a 2-0 lead at Parma in April, only for the team to eventually be held to a 2-2 draw, while a home win and an away win would have both paid out when Milan came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Lecce in March.
While such results may lead to more payouts for operators, the Early Payout promotion has been shown to increase player engagement and lead to increased revenue, while it can be used as part of marketing strategies to attract new players.
