The betting options available through Altenar’s sportsbook have been further improved with the addition of the new Ganagol tool.
Also known as Toto games in various parts of the world, Ganagol is an alternative form of sports betting which can be used to generate extra interest and brand loyalty from players.
Rather than betting on individual events, Ganagol is a weekly competition in which players pay an entry fee for the chance to predict the outcome of a series of events and compete for big prizes.
Operators can choose the format of the game, which can be match results or correct scores, while the payout structure is also customisable to allow for weekly prizes or rollover jackpots.
As an example, players may predict the result in 12 football fixtures across a weekend schedule, with a large prize at stake for a clean sweep of correct outcomes or smaller prizes for those achieving a specified number of correct results. A percentage of each entry fee can be added to the category payouts, meaning the prize pot increases in line with the number of participants.
To add extra interest, players paying an additional stake can also be given the opportunity to predict the range of goals scored in the same matches.
This is an alternative form of sports betting and can be an important differentiator in some parts of the world, most notably Latin America.

This is an uplift of a product that had great adoption in Latam. The new functionalities give our operators new options to increase user engagement, retention and acquisition. We believe that it is by far the most sophisticated tool of its kind across the industry.
