Lottoland has penned a new agreement with Altenar that will see it provide a fully managed sports betting platform for the online lotto provider.
The deal has brought about the first sportsbook launch for Lottoland. It was debuted in select markets in 2019, and there are plans to expand globally throughout 2020.
“We are very happy to be working with Lottoland on their first sportsbook,” said Altenar Commercial Director Domenico Mazzola on the deal. “The whole team is very proud that the product is now live.”
“We are looking forward to a long-term cooperation together, and are going to do our best to ensure our sports betting solution provides the necessary technological edge and flexibility for Lottoland.” Mazzola emphasised that Lottoland had chosen Altenar for its “flexible approach and customisation of the software”, which has been tailor-made to fit the needs of the online lotto provider.
Nigel Birrell, CEO of Lottoland, said: “We are thrilled to be incorporating a sportsbook platform into our product offering for Lottoland players. Our customers are at the heart of what we do, and for that reason, we are very pleased to be providing a one-stop-shop for lottery betting, gaming and sports. “Having Altenar at the helm of its development means that we can truly focus on customer experience, with competitive pricing, ease of use, market variety and frictionless user journeys all being incorporated into the design. We are very excited to see the finished product live on our site.”
