Altenar was honoured to win the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Sports Betting Integrity’ category at the Vixio Global Regulatory Awards 2025 in London.
The awards are independently judged and recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals, teams and organisations in the gambling industry who have excelled in compliance, corporate social responsibility, and safer gambling.
The awards evening was held at the Grand Connaught Rooms and Altenar employees from our UK, Malta and Greece offices were in attendance along with more than 300 professionals from the global gambling industry. The company was also shortlisted for the Legal Team of the Year prize, but it was the work done regarding the integrity of sports betting which saw Altenar claim a coveted trophy.

For instance, we cooperate with the sports integrity team of the Malta Gaming Authority on a recurring basis. The work of the team is backed up by in-depth analysis of our sportsbook data, which has a comprehensive set of alerts that enable a clear and active approach to any deviant behaviour.
