The Gran Fondo Isle of Man returned on July 25–26 with a refreshed format. Altenar proudly supported the event as title sponsor.
Cyclists of all ages and abilities took part in a weekend of road, gravel, and mountain bike racing. The event once again showcased the Isle of Man's stunning scenery and strong cycling community.
New for 2026 were dedicated gravel and cross-country mountain bike races. Family-friendly participation rides also helped make the event accessible to riders of all experience levels.
Based in Ramsey, the festival concluded with the flagship 100-km races. Riders crossed some of the island's most iconic landscapes before finishing in Port Erin.
The new format received an enthusiastic response from participants and supporters. It added fresh energy to one of the British Isles' leading participation cycling events.
As a company headquartered on the Isle of Man, Altenar was proud to support an event that brought together local communities and visitors from around the world. The weekend also highlighted the island as an outstanding destination for cycling.

Since its launch, Gran Fondo Isle of Man has welcomed more than 8,000 participants from countries including Japan, Australia, South Africa, and the U.S.
The 2026 edition built on that legacy with a weekend centered on competition, participation, and community spirit.
