The Italian Gaming Expo (IGE) is a major event on the country’s gaming calendar and brings together industry professionals from across Italy and abroad in the middle of April. Beginning in 2024, the first two editions proved a success and the conference is planning to expand going forwards.

Taking place over two days at the Salone Delle Fontane (which translates as the House of Fountains) in Rome, delegates have the opportunities to discuss emerging technologies, governance, responsible gambling measures, sustainability and much more. With a new licensing regime having been introduced in Italy and prompting a major shake-up of the industry, the new gaming landscape is sure to be a hot topic.

Speakers at IGE include some of the major players in the Italian market as well as international experts, ensuring in-depth conversations around topics that matter most to the estimated 4,000 visitors.

Hands-on workshops and networking opportunities are further reasons for anyone interested in the Italian market to book their ticket, and buying tickets in advance is recommended. Nearby hotels fill up quickly, but the location enjoys good public transport links to the city centre.

The first evening of the conference also features the Italian Gaming Awards, which recognises the achievements of successful operators and providers over the previous 12 months.
