Tell us about Altenar’s Isle of Man office.
The Isle of Man office serves as our corporate headquarters and is the center for finance, legal, and compliance functions across the Altenar group. As Altenar continues to grow, we are actively building out the team and have already filled, and are continuing to recruit, several key positions.

How is Altenar looking to grow its presence in the Isle of Man?
As we continue to grow, expanding key areas of the business and hiring the right people are crucial. We’ve recently become an approved training employer with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and we're exploring additional opportunities to increase awareness of the Altenar brand. What attracted you to join Altenar as Chief Financial Officer?
From the start, it was clear that Altenar’s leadership team has a strong vision for the company’s continued growth and evolution as a best-in-class sportsbook provider. Being the first external C-suite hire and having the opportunity to help shape the future of a dynamic, fast-growing organization was incredibly compelling.
What will your role as CFO entail?
John will lead the financial strategy for the Altenar group, building a team capable of supporting the growth trajectory we’re aiming for. The CFO position is highly visible and reflects our ambition to continue scaling the business.

Although I’m still relatively new to Altenar, what stood out to me immediately was the strong team dynamic across multiple jurisdictions. Altenar brings together experts from a wide range of disciplines to deliver both an exceptional product and outstanding service. There’s a real sense of pride in what we do, and we celebrate our collective achievements as a team.
