Altenar has launched the second version of its sports betting platform, enabling it to serve operators worldwide more efficiently.
The new platform was unveiled during the ‘Naked Truth About Altenar’ presentation at the inaugural SBC Digital Summit.
The company’s CEO, Stanislav Silin, confirmed that it is not yet live with existing partners, but it has been deployed for a new, small betting and gaming client.
He explained: “The platform allows us to blend content from different providers in a more finely tuned way.
“It also fully embraces hybrid cloud infrastructure—utilizing both on-premise and public cloud for scalability with distributed geo-deployment—so we should be able to serve regions such as Latin America and Asia far more efficiently.
“This is our future. I believe we will scale the software over the next two to three years, and any new integrations we take on will plug into that system.”
He went on to explain that because the platform was built from the ground up, it incorporates the latest technologies—allowing it to reduce dependency on a single database.
This concept, Silin noted, inherently brings greater availability and scalability, which existed in the current system but not to this degree.
Silin also reminded prospective clients why Altenar remains a strictly B2B platform provider and does not compete in the B2C space.
“Some customers came to us specifically because of that,” Silin continued. “We’ve always believed in this model, and without it, they wouldn’t have chosen us. They would have viewed us as competitors.
“We believe it’s a fairer proposition for them because they don’t face the risk of us releasing a feature only for our own B2C operations. This gives them peace of mind that we won’t one day try to take their players.”
Silin was joined during the presentation by COO Dinos Stranomitis, who answered a question about Altenar’s key USP—citing a “fast response” to problems or new partner requests.
“Our partners constantly request new features, especially now,” he said. “We’ve had to diversify quickly—adding esports and virtuals to our offering. On top of that, we’re also moving forward with lottery bets.”
Silin and Stranomitis also discussed regulatory changes in Sweden, where Altenar software is approved to support licensed operators. They also hinted at upcoming certifications in Denmark and Portugal, expected to be completed by the end of the month.
